Industrial 6×1200 Taper Plate Rolling Machine - Cold Rolling for Cones
This equipment is a 6×1200 controlled upward-adjustable three-roll plate bending machine, designed for cold rolling metal plates of a specified thickness into conical cylinders or tapered components at room temperature. Its operating principle is based on rotational bending deformation.
Featuring a vertically adjustable top roll, the machine eliminates the need for additional equipment such as presses. It enables one-time loading and can complete the forming and bending of both ends of the plate without flipping, as well as the straightening of formed workpieces.

Working principle and overall machine transmission system

The bottom rolls of this machine are drive rolls with fixed positions. The main motor transmits power to the input shaft of the main reducer via a reducer and a coupling set, and then to the two bottom rolls through the output shaft to drive them to rotate. The top roll is also a drive roll, and its vertical movement is driven by the top hydraulic cylinder installed on the frame. After the workpiece rolling is completed, the top roll moves to the middle position between the two bottom rolls and rises to the set height, then the workpiece is unloaded, and one working cycle ends.
When the top roll moves downward to compress the plate, friction is generated between the plate and the rolls, and the rotating bottom rolls feed the plate. An arc can be formed through the three tangent points where the three rolls contact the metal plate, and the descending degree of the top roll can be controlled to achieve the required arc radius.


Steps to perform the operation
1.Feed the metal plate so that it slightly passes the center of the second bottom roll, ensuring the side of the metal plate is perpendicular to the central axis of the bottom rolls.
2 After the top roll descends to the appropriate position, drive the bottom rolls to curl the steel plate, making sure one end of the plate does not detach from the other bottom roll.
3 Repeat the same process after the first curling until the required curling diameter is achieved.
4 Unloading:
(1) Activate the top roll lifting cylinder.
(2) Unload the rolled and formed workpiece.
